Facilities definitely need a refresh!!! No coffee available, which seriously dampened my mornings!!! Some noise disturbances outside at night—perfect for light sleepers!!! Overall, a place that could use a little TLC!!!

The hotel might be an old property, but it delivered surprising cleanliness at a budget rate. The Jamaican restaurant nearby was a fantastic surprise, making the area feel more welcoming. Just be mindful of some noise and the neighborhood's character—it may not be for everyone.

Old but clean and convenient

The room I stayed in was surprisingly clean and comfortable, especially for a budget price. The AC worked wonderfully, ensuring I had a cool retreat after long days.

Unfortunately, the hotel's age revealed itself in its run-down appearance and the neighborhood left much to be desired. I did notice some late-night noise outside my door.

During my stay for one night as a solo traveler, I found the best part to be the nearby Jamaican restaurant that offered wonderful food options. The mini-fridge in my room was a nice touch, although it could have worked better. I enjoyed my stay as a solo traveler. The Jamaican restaurant next door served amazing food. My king room was clean and had a good shower. Walking distance to Amtrak and car rental was convenient. I felt safe in the neighborhood. 🌟

This place was just a good pick for resting at all in Schenectady with great value for money. The shower had impressive water pressure that made my stay really refreshing. Just be cautious about the surrounding neighborhood when walking around at night.

Plus, a nearby Jamaican restaurant served delicious dishes. it was a highlight of my experience.
